FlowerFest, making room for growth...
FlowerFest needs support to
raise awareness of local charities ...
Can you help?
As in nature, bi-annual flowers gain strength in their non flowering year, so too will FlowerFest.
By taking a 'positive pause' we feel it will enable us to step back and look at the very best way forward! The impact of Covid on everyone is profound and we need to keep safe for a while longer.
We know this time will enable us to gain momentum, giving us valued time to dedicate towards creating the correct resources to build strength and confidence in FlowerFest. In doing so we can become a recognised creative floral event, an event promoting all things garden orientated, bringing the wonder of nature a step closer to you. Where better to shout about nature, than in Dorset, where we are so lucky and so bountiful in natural beauty.
We gained terrific positive feedback on the first two years of the FF events in Christchurch. Our sponsors, supporters, volunteers, the general public & wider community also recognise too, that nature holds so many keys to fulfilment.
The FlowerFest team can see we now need to nurture and feed our roots to gain a bigger source of support.
We would value commitment from local businesses or organisations to build on the strong template we hold, please do get in touch if you are looking to sponsor a young but forward thinking event in 2024.
Our ethos, We all need TLC, Together we Link the Community, will continue to grow through FlowerFest.
We will work in supporting a different charity each year and help to raise awareness of the work they do, along with generating donations to their cause.
FlowerFest are looking toward to supporting and raising awareness of the work done by local charity, Cherry Tree Nursery, Northbourne, Bournemouth .
Please see the worthwhile work this charity does in the local community on the following page.
